若一年都没有充电，日月潭蓄电池容量恢复有困难，可以试试用0.1C电流充电24小时后，再将日月潭 蓄电池放干，再次用0.1C充电12小时，这样循环两次，应该有好转。日月潭 蓄电池寿命大概6年，不能用可以考虑换新的。
日月潭 蓄电池在长时间搁置前要对电池充好电，并保持在存放两个月左右补充一次电。长时间闲置即使重新加硫酸液不一定能再使用，反而会有安全隐患。
